Wood Pallets for Europe is a Brussels-focused Alliance of leading wooden packaging organisations, founded by CJ Sheeran Group, EUROBLOCK Verpackungsholz GmbH, Foresco, PGS Group, and associations EPAL and Woodpack Global.
Our membership manufactures, repairs, and manages a significant share of wooden pallets in use across Europe, supporting resilient, circular, and efficient logistics across the European continent and beyond.
The Alliance brings together expertise from across the wood packaging sector to foster greater understanding of the role wooden pallets play in European supply chains and their contribution to a more circular and resource-efficient economy.
Through collaboration, research, and the sharing of industry knowledge, Wood Pallets for Europe provides a collective platform for the sector and contributes informed perspectives to the ongoing European conversation around packaging, sustainability, and the future of logistics.
Together, our members represent one of the industry's largest wood packaging ecosystems, connecting expertise and experience across the value chain.
Wood is a unique & renewable material
Sustainable forest management ensures long-term resource availability
Wooden pallets are circular and do not generate waste
Different circular pallet systems need to be valued and recognised
Wood contributes to climate objectives
Europe already has a proven circular success story in wooden pallets. Built on extensive reuse, repair, refurbishment, and ultimately recycling into secondary products, our sector demonstrates how renewable materials can support both competitiveness and sustainability. As Europe advances its circular economy agenda, we look forward to contributing our expertise to ensure that future legislation reflects the specific characteristics of wood and supports the diverse circular systems that keep European supply chains moving”
